Notes: A large square at the end of the pedestrian-only Váci Street with an Italian marble statue at its center of 19th-century Hungarian poet Mihály Vörösmarty. The square hosts lovely seasonal markets, including one of Europe's largest Christmas markets. The famous confectionery and café Gerbaud, and the first stop of Budapest's M1 line, the second-oldest metro line in Europe, also can be found here.
