Notes: This Budapest staple is a university-accredited school, historic relic, and concert hall. Named for its benefactor, the 19th century celebrated virtuoso Liszt Ferenc, the academy was first established 1875. Over the past one-hundred years the school is the cornerstone of the pedestrian-only Liszt Ferenc square in central Pest, standing at the corner of Király Street and Ferenc Liszt Square.
