Notes: The Institute and Museum of Military History is located inside the Nádor barracks in the Buda
Castle District. It has a substantial collection of weapons, uniforms, flags and coins. Its permanent exhibition tells the history of the Hungarian army, retells the 13 days of the 1956 Revolution and stages a medieval castle siege with the help of a 15-square-meter model. The museum also hosts temporary exhibitions.
