Notes: The Eötvös Loránd University Botanical Gardens date back to 1771 and are spread over 3.5 hectares in Budapest's 8th district. Visitors will find over 8,000 plant and tree species, including a greenhouse devoted to tropical species. Other greenhouses feature extensive collections of orchids and palms.
